Students' Global Experience (SGE) Award
Students' Global Experience (SGE) AwardGlobal exposure is becoming more and more important in today’s world and MSE strongly encourages its students to go for overseas attachments. The School has set up the Students’ Global Experience (SGE) Award.
The following global exposure programmes are eligible:
- GEM Explorer
- GEM Discoverer
- Overseas Internship
Students who hold any of the following scholarships and others that have a component for overseas travel award are ineligible:
- Nanyang Scholarship
- CNYang Scholars Programme
- University Scholars Programme (USP)
Application Schedule:
Period: BEFORE the commencement of the overseas programme. Please watch out for announcements via email on the opening of application for SGE around Feb/Mar and Sep/Oct.
- Application will not be accepted after the stated application period.
- Application form MUST be submitted with complete details and a copy of the LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE is attached from the Host Organization as supporting document.
- Those who have been awarded under this scheme would not be eligible for the second time.
- Interested students can apply via the application form included in the email announcement. Please ensure all the details are complete and accurate.
- The successful awardee will receive the payment directly through GIRO to the bank account.
