Ma Jan Bursary
Eligible students
- Singapore Citizens pursuing an undergraduate degree at MSE
- Meet the Per Capita Income (PCI) / Gross Household Income (GHI) criteria set by NTU
- Recipient may hold concurrent bursaries subject to the University’s approval
- Up to $5,000 per academic year

MSE Bursary
The Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Bursary was established in 2023. Through the generous gifts of donors to the MSE Advancement Fund, the school was able to create the MSE Endowed Bursary Fund to support the bursary. The first recipients were awarded in AY2025.
- All undergraduate students at MSE
- Meet the Per Capita Income (PCI) / Gross Household Income (GHI) criteria set by NTU
- Must be of good academic standing and have displayed strong leadership ability or involvement in community / school service
- Recipients may hold concurrent bursaries subject to the University’s approval
- Up to $3,000 per academic year
Bursary application procedure
Students need to submit only one application to be considered for government bursaries and NTU-administered bursaries, including the Ma Jan Bursary and MSE Bursary.
