​Winner of the Defence Technology Prize - Professor Gan Chee Lip

We are proud to share that Professor Gan Chee Lip has won the Defence Technology Prize (Individual R&D). Professor Gan received the award from the Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen at the annual Defence Technology Prize (DTP) award ceremony. The DTP recognizes Professor Gan’s research breakthroughs which can be translated to defence technologies, in particular his research on hardware Trojans. Professor Gan and his research team have developed strategies to secure systems against malicious hardware modifications in our defence network.

About the Award

Established in 1989 by the Ministry of Defence, the Defence Technology Prize is the most prestigious accolade awarded to individuals to recognize their outstanding contributions in the areas of defence science and technology which have significantly enhanced Singapore's defence capabilities.
