Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad 2015

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Mr Tan Chaoliang, Mr Fan Zhanxi and Mr Zhang Xiao, who are PhD students of Professor Zhang Hua, for winning the “Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad 2015”. The awards are managed by the China Scholarship Council and were presented at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China located in Singapore.

Set up in 2003 by the China Scholarship Council through the approval of the Ministry of Education in China, this award aims to encourage and motivate outstanding self-financed students who are overseas, and have garnered impressive achievements during their time away. 4914 students have been presented with this award thus far.
