Winner of the Falling Walls - Professor Chen Xiaodong

We are delighted to share the achievements of Professor Chen Xiaodong and his team, who are selected as one of the ten winners in the Falling Walls - Engineering and Technology category. The outstanding quality and relevance of their research impressed the international Falling Walls Jury. The Falling Walls Science Breakthroughs of the Year 2021 will be announced on 15 September. Winners will be invited to present their work to a global audience on the grand Falling Walls stage in Berlin on 9 November.

Background
Falling Walls is a unique international annual gathering of leaders from science, business, government, and the arts. Inspired by the peaceful fall of the Berlin Wall on 9 November 1989, the question of every Falling Walls meeting is: Which are the next walls to fall in science and society?
