Winner of Three Minute Thesis (3MT) NTU Finale 2020 - Ms Luo Yifei

We are pleased to announce that Ms Luo Yifei, postgraduate student of Professor Chen Xiaodong, is the winner of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) NTU Finale 2020. Ms Luo delivered a brilliant presentation of her thesis, entitled “Listening in on Plants through a Conductive Liquid Glue". As a winner of the 3MT NTU Finale, she will also represent NTU in the Singapore Finale.

Three Minute Thesis Competition was launched in The University of Queensland in 2008. 3MT competition cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. Presenting in a 3MT competition increases their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. The 3MT competition has been adopted in 85 countries outside Australia.
