NCPA Webinar Series: Dialogue on Restructuring Economy for Recovery - Post COVID-19 (II)
Before COVID-19, travel and tourism had become one of the most important sectors in the world economy, accounting for 10 percents of global GDP and more than 320 million jobs worldwide. However, with the lockdowns and border control measurements being taken in place around the world to contain the spread, travelling has come to a standstill. As the world transits towards an endemic phase, and travel restrictions gradually being lifted, how should the tourism, logistics and services sectors restructure and recalibrate to seize opportunities and navigate around new challenges brought about by the new normal.
This second dialogue of the webinar series focusing on tourism, services and logistics hopes to bring together policymakers and business leaders to come together to discuss and deliberate on issues with regards to restructuring and recovery.
