Celebrating Excellence: Graduation Ceremony for AY 2023/2024 MME Students

On the evening of 13 September 2024, the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) hosted a memorable graduation ceremony for some 100 accomplished students from the 28th cohort of the Master of Science in Managerial Economics programme.

The ceremony took place at the Raffles Marina, offering picturesque waterfront views that added to the celebratory atmosphere. Many of the graduates turned up in their best outfits and enjoyed the pre-dinner activities of popular local traditional ice-cream treats and fun photo moments at the "red carpet" photo booth.

Dr Wang Hang, NCPA’s Deputy Director, alongside several faculty members, attended the celebration. In his congratulatory address, Dr Wang praised the students for their accomplishments,  staff and faculty for their dedication and encouraged the graduates to stay connected with NCPA. 

In addition to the presentation of graduation medals and the Director’s List of Outstanding Student Awards to honour exceptional academic excellence, graduates bonded through interactive games such as charades and "Name That Tune," creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. Besides a captivating duet performance, the graduates also presented a commemorative reel of the campus-life highlights over the past year, a heart-warming showcase of their academic journey, friendships, and shared triumphs, all set against the backdrop of the university’s iconic campus.

 

The evening was dedicated to celebrating academic achievements, perseverance, and the promise of new beginnings. Congratulations to all graduates—may your future endeavours be marked by continued success and fulfilment.
