Biography
Having trained in the Public Administration and Liberal Arts domains, Huang Xi is passionate about the research topics of transnational tertiary education collaboration and knowledge policies of China, international affairs of contemporary China in Southeast Asia, and tertiary education policy and administration of Asian countries. Through involvement in multiple academic projects, she has grown into a qualitative researcher in the areas of China studies, especially China’s rise and Belt and Road Initiative, China’s transnational tertiary education collaboration in the Global South. Prior to joining NCPA, she ever worked with the Institute for Advanced Studies, University of Tokyo.

黄曦曾在公共管理和人文学科领域受训，对中国高等教育跨国合作与知识政策、当代中国在东南亚的国际事务、亚洲国家高等教育政策与管理的研究课题充满热情。通过参与多项学术项目，她逐渐成长为中国研究领域，特别是中国崛起和“一带一路”倡议、中国在全球南方的跨国高等教育合作的定性研究人员。在加入南洋公共管理学院之前，她曾为东京大学东洋文化研究所工作。
