​​The Nanyang Environmental and Water Research Institute (NEWRI) is recognising its corporate responsibilities and commitments to take reasonably practicable means to provide a safe and healthy environment to all faculty, staff, partners, students and visitors, and anyone else who may be affected by our operations. 

The goal of occupational health, safety and environment programs is to protect and promote the health and safety of all NEWRI stakeholders with consideration to environmental sustainability. The improvement of working environment and work to become conducive to safety and health is important to NEWRI. We aim to develop working culture in a direction which supports health and safety at work. 

NEWRI seek the co-operation of all faculty, staff, partners and visitors. We encourage suggestions for realising our health and safety objectives. We strive for continual improvement to reduce HSE risk and to create a safe working environment for all NEWRI stakeholders.
