The Commendation Medal (COVID-19) is given to individuals who performed outstandingly in their role during the COVID-19 pandemic. These individuals displayed great courage and dedication beyond the call of duty while maintaining a high level of professionalism.  Recipients include individuals and teams from the healthcare, public, private and people sectors in a whole-of-nation effort.
