NTU Singapore receives S$5 million gift from Vingroup to provide graduate scholarships
Vingroup, Vietnam's leading private conglomerate, has made a S$5 million gift to Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), to establish scholarships for graduate students.
Slightly more than half of the Vingroup Graduate Scholarship Fund will be distributed over
seven years to provide scholarships for PhD and Master’s degree students starting from 2020.
The remainder creates an endowed fund to support the scholarships in perpetuity.
The agreement was signed by Dr Le Mai Lan, Vingroup’s Vice Chairwoman cum President of
the VinUniversity Project, and Professor Ling San, Provost and Vice President (Academic) of
NTU Singapore in Hanoi today.
