Setting sight on electric aircraft

NTU and intelligent power management company Eaton have signed a three-year research collaboration agreement to develop innovative solutions for the electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) market.

By combining NTU’s strengths in academic research and innovation with Eaton’s industry expertise, the collaboration aims to accelerate the commercialisation of academic research and the growth of green technologies contributing to aviation decarbonisation.

The collaboration builds upon NTU’s interdisciplinary education and research with Eaton’s experience in the aerospace and electrical business to optimise eVTOLs use in the emerging green aviation ecosystem.
