The Emirates College of Advanced Education (ECAE) visits NIE

Vice-chancellor of ECAE, Dr May Laith Al Taee led a delegation of three to the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore on 25 - 27 May 2022. Accompanied by Dr Hanadi Kadbey, Head, Institute Research & Effectiveness and Mr Ashraf Hussein, Advisor, the delegates discussed on collaboration opportunities between ECAE and NIEI, towards a renewed ECAE-NIEI partnership. During the 3-day visit, the ECAE delegation also met with NIE Director, Prof Christine Goh, who was supportive of an ECAE-NIEI partnership and is glad of NIEI’s possible contributions to ECAE’s development and progress of education in UAE.

NIE helped in the establishment of ECAE in 2006 with its official launch in 2007. ECAE is a specialist teacher training college in UAE with the vision to lead educational transformation in and beyond UAE. The college received its first cohort of undergraduate students in September 2007 and its first cohort of postgraduate students in October 2007.
