A*STAR Biomedical Research Council Assistant Chief Executive (ACE/BMRC) visits NTU and NIE

On 23^rd February 2023, the Science of Learning in Education Centre (SoLEC) and Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD) jointly hosted Mr Ng Huck Hui, Assistant Chief Executive, Biomedical Research Council, A*STAR. Representatives of NIE’s CRCD and SoLEC and NTU’s Centre for Research and Development in Learning (CRADLE) were invited to showcase NTU and NIE research capabilities. Fruitful discussions on the research landscape in child development, areas of strategic focus and possible areas of collaboration arose. The visit concluded with an agreement for a Growing Up in Singapore Towards healthy Outcomes (GUSTO) sharing session for NTU and NIE researchers to express interest in utilising GUSTO data.
