Centre for Assessment & Evaluation (CAE): IEAN AI Mini-Summit 3: Policy and Practice in AI Assessment

On 15 October 2024, Dr Tay Hui Yong (CAE, Head of Assessment Team) represented Singapore at the International Educational Assessment Network (IEAN) AI Mini-Summit. The summit was organized by the University of Glasgow and the theme was "Policy and Practice Discussions as Country Case Studies (Singapore, Norway, and Wales)."

Dr Tay shared on Singapore's approach on AI policies and its implementation in education, shedding light on how the nation integrates AI into our education system to enhance learning.

It was an engaging session that help educators gain insights through discussions of each member country's AI policies and practices in their education system. The feedback from participants will contribute to shape a better understanding of the future of AI in education and identify key areas for action.
