Dr Yuvaraj Rajamanickam participates in 2 different events

Dr Yuvaraj Rajamanickam, Education Research Scientist at Science of Learning in Education Centre (SoLEC), participated in the 32^nd European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO 2024), held in Lyon, France, from 26^th to 30^th August 2024. He presented his team’s work titled “Optimal EEG Time Window Length for Boredom Classification using Combined Non-linear Features”, which explores the effect of different time window lengths on boredom detection to find the optimal length for extracting EEG features related to boredom. Findings have shown a clear reference for selecting epoch duration when analyzing EEG signals related to boredom, an important methodological consideration for any EEG-driven emotion recognition systems.

Dr Yuvaraj was also invited to present his work titled “Applications of Science of Learning (SoL)”, at the International Conference on Cognitive Science: Evidence for Teacher Education (ICCSETE), held in Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India, from 13^th to 14^th August 2024.
