THE NIE TEACHERS’ INVESTITURE CEREMONIES JULY 2019

The National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore celebrates the graduation of 975 new and returning teachers joining the Singapore Education Service. They will receive their certificates and awards during the Teachers’ Investiture Ceremonies (TIC) from 2 and 3 July 2019 at the Nanyang Auditorium, Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

NIE will also celebrate the inaugural cohort of 16 school counsellors from the one-year Diploma in School Counselling programme. The newly-trained professionals will be part of the school staff and will work alongside teachers. Their key role is to help students who face problems in different areas of their lives, to succeed in learning, and in school.
