Collaborations & Support

Opportunities

SLL is open to collaborations with different stakeholders and welcomes volunteers who are passionate about sustainability related issues. Internship opportunities are also available, subject to SLL’s current needs. We invite proposals and suggestions on how you or your organisation can work meaningfully with us.

Potential Collaborations

  1. Student teachers at NIE and in-service teachers who wish to work on creating, sharing or workshopping teaching or learning pedagogies and materials organised around the concept of sustainability.
  2. A discussion on, or a hands-on experience at enacting formal or informal environmentalist initiatives (e.g. food waste composting, up-cycling classes, food rescue and redistribution) spearheaded by specific individuals or groups of people.
  3. Volunteers/interns can opt to familiarise themselves with SLL’s operations in a number of ways, such as demonstrating how certain teaching/learning resources (e.g. card games on getting to zero carbon emissions) can be used in the dedicated SLL room during an open house, maintaining SLL’s rain garden etc.
