Typhoon FLA 7000IP - Biomolecular Imaging System
Typhoon FLA 7000 is a fast and versatile laser scanner for biomolecular imaging applications including sensitive and quantitative measurements of radioisotopic labels by storage phosphor and single fluorescence of samples.
For the detection of radioactivity, fluorescence and chemifluorescence, emitted light is collected and transformed to an electrical signal by a photomultiplier tube (PMT). The electrical signal is then converted into digital information by A/D conversion for image display and analysis. This system can be used to analyse gels containing fluorescent or radioactive samples.
