An interview is conducted between MAS host and NTU professors on the topics of how AI enables various fintech applications, the challenges, recent breakthroughs, and the forecast. Prof An Bo (Associate Professor, School of Computer Science and Engineering, NTU) shares the major challenges in Fintech today and some recent advances in using AI in the market trading. Prof Yu Han (Nanyang Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science and Engineering) talks about the data privacy issues concerned as AI become more and more widely adopted, and how federated learning can benefit the FinTech industry to address the data privacy issues.
