Dr. Chan Ying Lock started his career as an accountant and auditor in PMM (now KPMG) and moved on to corporate finance with a British merchant bank and venture capital with Transpac Capital.
He managed an international publishing business and was invited by the Tote Board to set up SEHub, Singapore's first statutory impact fund, now called raiSE Singapore. In 2015, he joined Garden Impact Investments as Director of Investments and now heads Oaktree Impact Consulting.
His domain knowledge and experience are in helping new businesses manage their growth and expansion in their financial management. He also teaches management accounting for 17 years at Nanyang Business School (NBS) and financing for new ventures at NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) and NTU School of Biological Sciences (SBS).

Dr Eng Hann is an accomplished innovation leader skilled in guiding companies through science and technology-driven transformation. With experience spanning Singapore, APAC, Europe, and the Americas, he has led projects in the scientific, agri-food, nutrition, consumer health, medical devices, intellectual property, and digital technology sectors. His professional journey includes strategic roles in innovation, IP management, and technology transfer at prestigious institutions like Nanyang Technological University, Reckitt, Hewlett Packard Inc., IP Office of Singapore, A*STAR, and the National University of Singapore.
Currently, Dr Eng Hann is an innovation-lead at the Singapore Agri-Food Innovation Lab (SAIL), a platform at NTU, fostering partnerships to drive agri-food innovation for sustainability and food security in Singapore and Asia. A member of IPOS Society, he holds a PhD, BEng, a Graduate Certificate in IP Law from NUS and M&A certifications from IMAA, reflecting his robust expertise in intellectual property and innovation.

Ms Jackie is a seasoned professional with expertise in marketing, internet technology, blockchain, and Web3 industries. She has held various leadership roles in renowned organizations, such as Managing Director at Edelman PR, the world's largest public relations company, and CEO at MullenLowe, an advertising firm affiliated with IPG, one of the world's four largest advertising groups. Jackie has also served as CMO and COO for blockchain start-ups and has worked as a senior coach and CMO at a US-based career coaching company. Currently, she is the Managing Director of a Web3 start-up in Singapore and an active contributor to women's leadership development organizations, including Lean In China and sHero.
With a deep understanding and hands-on experience in corporate strategy, operations, finance, and talent development, Jackie boasts a diverse skill set that encompasses management consulting, marketing, product strategy, project management, cryptocurrency, and decentralized finance. Kenneth CHIAM (NTU Alumnus – B.Acc, MSc. TIP) is the founder and director of Global Homestay Services, a hospitality business providing accommodation and travel-related services to visitors on leisure & business, international students on long-term & educational exchange programmes. He oversees the business development and operational aspects of the company. In 2008, the company expanded into the private education industry via a joint-venture where he was co-appointed as the school’s director to head the operations.
Kenneth is also the Principal Consultant at Solutionz Consulting, providing consultancy services to start-ups and international clients seeking to establish a local outfit in Singapore. A Chartered Accountant (Singapore) by training, his fields of practice include business strategy & planning, accounting, finance and taxation advisory services. Amongst his other entrepreneurial endeavours include a family-owned pet hotel business which culminated in an equity-sale exit.
In academia, he facilitates the entrepreneurial journey for various undergraduate courses at NTU since 2006, focusing on learning touchpoints including new venture formation, business planning, marketing, innovation, strategies, business simulation, design thinking, accounting and finance.
Apart from lecturing at NTU, he holds adjunct positions as associate lecturer, course lead & curriculum developer at other educational institutions. In 2011, he received the Advanced Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education, jointly awarded by the National Institute of Education (NIE) and Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). He was also awarded the Teaching Merit Award (2016) and Teaching Excellence Award (2017, 2022) by SIM. Ms Qi Lu is a Partner at Tsing Capital, one of the first venture capital firm dedicated to sustainability related investing. She heads several functions at Tsing Capital including portfolio management, research, and ESG, and is actively advising early to growth stage companies with sustainability missions on their business development, cross-border and fundraising strategies.
Ms Qi Lu has over 15 years’ experience working in energy, environment and sustainable development sectors. Her focus areas include renewable energy, electric vehicle, energy efficiency, power storage, etc.
Prior to joining Tsing Capital, she worked for Carbon Trust and Azure International, two leading environmental and low carbon consulting firms, where she worked with Chinese national and local governments to give recommendations on sustainability-related policy making. She also advised many western Cleantech companies on their China-entry strategies. She also worked at Bloomberg New Energy Finance’s Beijing and New York offices as a research assistant intern on power storage and U.S.’s voluntary carbon markets.
