Pioneer Hall Freshmen Orientation Programme

The sun rises above the horizon, casting long rays over the sprawling landscape. In the heart of the arena, the teams eagerly await the challenges that lay ahead. The air is charged with excitement, but the spectre of competition hangs over them.

The Pioneer Games is a series of survival challenges coined by the tyrannical Capitol and their gamemakers. The tributes are sent to the Capitol to prove their worth - their survival brings food and supplies to their districts to last a whole year, while the fallen starve. As such, the tributes from each district must fight to ensure they’re the last man standing, or work to overthrow the oppressive system.

Founded in 2014, Pioneer Hall is the 18th Hall of Residence in NTU. Home to a diverse range of students from all 6 Colleges of NTU, including recipients of the Premier Scholar Programmes (PSP), we house more than 600 local and international students across NTU.

Our hall motto, 'Aude Aliquid Dignum', translates to 'Dare Something Worthy'. As you immerse yourself in 3 days of the physical orientation program, curiosity will guide your steps as you embark on a journey that defies the ordinary. Interactive challenges will test your resolve, pushing you to unlock the secrets that lie within.
