Introduction
This course encompasses an in-depth exploration and advanced training for a deepened understanding and proficient clinical practice on the various facets of holistic palliative care, with a particular emphasis on the psycho-socio-spiritual domains of care. Such explorative training will facilitate insights, reflections, and personal growth for enhancing students’ capacity in facing the inevitability of mortality and loss, while equipping them with the core intellectual and practical skills for supporting dying patients, bereaved families as well as their own selves who will eventually be faced with the challenges of death, dying, grief and bereavement

Who should attend
For healthcare workers, including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, medical social workers, and administrators in the Palliative Care ecosystem.
Learners are strongly encouraged to complete MD6102 Foundation of Psychosocial Care and Thanatology as the pre-requisite.
