FlexiMasters (WKWSCI)

The FlexiMasters in Library Leadership and Management provides participants with a firm foundation in library work
at the managerial and leadership levels. This will be achieved by courses on information discovery, collection development, organization of information, as well as management and leadership principles.

Upon completion of the course, students who meet the minimum requirements will be able to pursue MSc Information Studies for lifelong professional upskilling.

Note: *Students must complete these courses to obtain the Graduate Certificate. These courses represent the basic set of competencies for librarians. No other course combinations will lead to the award of the Graduate Certificate.

The FlexiMasters in Information Management and Analytics equips participants with the knowledge needed  to thrive in information-intensive workplaces. This is achieved through a set of courses that focuses on key  aspects of acquiring, managing, analyzing and interpreting information assets relevant to an  organization.

The courses in this FlexiMasters are currently undergoing a revamp. Do stay tuned for updates.

Each course is assigned with an academic unit number, which indicates the amount of learning undertaken and the depth of learning involved. Assessments will be conducted during the session and participants will be graded based on their performance in the assessment. Each completed course is stackable to the FlexiMasters Certificate.​
 

The FlexiMasters ​will be awarded to participants who completed a minimal 15AUs of courses with each course of minimum GPA 2.5  (which is equivalent to a letter grade of C+) and above.

Participants who completed 9AUs of coursework with each course of minimum GPA 2.5 and above will be eligible for the Graduate Certificate

Participants who attain an WKWSCI FlexiMasters may choose to stack it towards a Master’s programme. Upon meeting admission requirements, participants may choose the following pathway:​
