2017 - NTU and HDB signed a Project Agreement for the Development of Smart Integrated Construction System (SICS) on 7 Sep 2017​

Officiated by the Minister for National Development & Second Minister for Finance Mr Lawrence Wong, a project agreement was signed between NTU and HDB on 7 September 2017 at the inaugural International Housing Forum.

The development of Smart Integrated Construction System (SICS) aims to:

• Facilitate data-sharing and synergise construction processes across developers, architects, consultants, contractors, precasters through a centralised digital platform
  
• Transform traditional construction work processes and boost productivity through smart sensors and automation
