The Aerospace and Defence (A&D) programme is committed to helping companies and organizations in the Aerospace and Defence industry explore and tap into the potentials of 3D printing. The research work conducted by the A&D programme are widely varied and multi-disciplinary. Research activities include design and fabrication of UAVs, design guidelines for 3D printing lightweight aerospace and defence parts, development of libraries for material and design recommendation through machine learning, hybrid composite printing, development of standards.
