Entry Requirements to SUSS Undergraduate Programmes

  • GCE ‘A’ level with two passes (prior to 2006) or two H2 passed from (2006) or local polytechnic diploma.
  • Two years of work experience or is currently employed on a full-time basis (National Service is included).
  • 21 years old and above.


How to Apply to SUSS’s Undergraduate Programmes

Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)

​​Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) is the first and only local university in Singapore dedicated to working professionals and adult learners. Their wide spectrum of quality programmes provides working professionals with the opportunity to enhance their skills and acquire higher educational qualifications, while balancing work and family responsibilities.

Established in April 2005, SUSS (then known as UniSIM) is approved by the Ministry of Education to award recognised Singapore degrees. It currently offers more than 40 academic programmes through four schools, and has an enrolment of more than 11,000 students.

Regular Programmes
Students who opt to enrol into a regular SUSS programme may apply for any one of the existing undergraduate programmes offered by the four schools in SUSS.

Customised Programmes (Minor in Military Studies)
Students who opt for these programmes will major in one of the selected SUSS’s disciplines, and minor in Military Studies. This includes the NTU accredited CE Master's courses conducted during CSC Phase 1 and Security Studies (SEC) courses offered by SUSS.

Course Requirements

For programmes offered at the basic level, students are required to complete a total of 130 cu to graduate. For programmes offered at the honours level, students are required to complete a total of 170 cu to graduate.

The SUSS–SAF Programmes allows for credit recognition of up to 30 cu from the CE Master's courses completed up to NTU's accreditation requirements in Phase I (each course to be awarded 5 cu). To successfully obtain the Bachelor’s degree (minor in Military Studies), students are required to complete the remaining number of required cu from the Major Discipline and University core courses.
