Mrs Wong-Mah Jia Lan Chinese-English Minor in Translation Book Prizes 

The Mrs Wong-Mah Jia Lan Chinese-English Minor in Translation Book Prizes were established by Mrs Wong-Mah Jia Lan, with the aim to promote translation studies and bilingual skills in Chinese and English at undergraduate level. Four Book Prizes will be awarded on an annual basis to students who have completed the required number of Minor in Translation courses offered by the Chinese Programme.

Respective Eligibility Criteria

Year 1 Book Prize:
Awarded to a first year student who has completed two Minor in Translation courses.

Year 2 Book Prize:
Awarded to a second year student who has completed three Minor in Translation courses.

Year 3 Book Prize:
Awarded to a third year student who has completed four Minor in Translation courses.

Year 4 Book Prize:
Awarded to a final year student who has completed all five Minor in Translation courses or completed four Minor in Translation courses but is taking HT9401 at the time of selection.

*Please note that students can only be awarded the prize once during their studies. ​​
