You Jin Gold Medal

Introduction:

The accomplished author and NTU Singapore alumna Madam Tham Yew Chin – better known by her pen name You Jin – and her husband Mr James Jit Teng Lim made a gift to the Department of Chinese, School of Humanities, NTU for the purpose of nurturing Chinese talents and encouraging students’ creative writing in Chinese. 

Criteria:

This Medal cum cash award will be awarded to a graduating student with the highest CGPA for the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Chinese or the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Double Major – Chinese and Linguistics & Multilingual Studies, Philosophy and Chinese, History and Chinese, Chinese and English, Chinese and Art History.
