You Jin Gold Medal

Introduction:

The accomplished author and NTU Singapore alumna Madam Tham Yew Chin – better known by her pen name You Jin – and her husband Mr James Jit Teng Lim made a gift to the Department of Chinese, School of Humanities, NTU for the purpose of nurturing Chinese talents and encouraging students’ creative writing in Chinese. You Jin Gold Medal cum cash award will provide funding,  inclusive of the Gold Medal.

Criteria:

This Medal will be awarded to a graduating student with the highest CGPA for the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Chinese or the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Double Major - Chinese and Linguistics & Multilingual Studies, Philosophy and Chinese, History and Chinese, Chinese and English.
