Celebrating Women’s Leadership: A glimpse into the International Women’s Day Lunch & Learn
The International Women’s Day Lunch & Learn, held on 7 March 2025 at Amara Hotel Ballroom 2 brought together a diverse group of professionals, alumni, faculty members and students for an afternoon of connection and learning. The event was hosted by the NTU Office of Alumni Engagement to celebrate women’s achievements.
The event’s highlight was the panel discussion “Mentorship, Sponsorship, and Allyship Across Generations of Women Leaders,” moderated by Professor Boh Wai Fong, Vice President (Lifelong Learning & Alumni Engagement). The panellists include:
- Low Peck Kem (EEE/1986), CHRO & Advisor (Workforce Development), Public Service Division
- Wong Lup Wai (NBS/1995), CEO, IPI Singapore
- Zuraidah Abdullah (CEE/1985), CEO, Yayasan MENDAKI
- Rena Kek (NBS/Undergrad), UNESCO & Women@Dior Mentee
The School of Humanities representatives included faculty members and alumni. The event provided a platform for both faculty and alumni to connect through engaging discussions that help advance women’s development and the mentorship of future generations of leaders.
