SHBC 2024 was held at Singapore Expo.
On Friday, 11 October 2024, the Medical Humanities interdisciplinary research cluster hosted a satellite conference as part of the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress 2024.
Held at the Garnet Room in the Singapore Expo, the NTU Medical Humanities Satellite Conference featured five sessions with over 20 curated speakers from various fields, including medicine, the humanities, and the arts, who shared their research and experiences.
By engaging diverse perspectives, medical humanities research critically examines both historical and current practices, incorporating cultural artifacts such as films and literature, as well as patients' lived experiences.
