Supporting Young Academics - Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Peh Li Qi for winning the 2023 MOE START Inauguration Grant Award

Asst. Prof. Peh Li Qi was awarded the Inauguration Grant under the MOE Singapore Teaching and Academic Research Talent Scheme (START).

Awarded to pre-tenure Assistant Professors in Autonomous Universities, the Scheme supports young Singaporeans in pursuing an academic career as well as helps universities strengthen their pool of academic talent in both research and teaching. The Inauguration Grant supports recipients by giving a cash bonus in two tranches – after the first two years of service, and after the second two years of service. The cash bonus is funded equally by both MOE and the awarding AU.

Asst. Prof. Peh will be attending the START Award Ceremony on 14 August 2024 to formally accept the award.
