The Physics and Applied Physics programmes are run by the Division of Physics and Applied Physics at NTU's School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. The Physics programme covers a broad range of topics spanning most aspects of the natural world, with a balanced mix of theoretical, experimental, and computational coursework. The Applied Physics programme covers the use of physical principles in frontier technologies such as spintronics, nanotechnology, laser physics, and quantum materials.
This Second Major programme equips physics majors with training in data analytics, a discipline that is increasingly pervasive in science, technology, and business. The data analytics courses for the Second Major are offered by a wide range of Schools in NTU's College of Science and College of Engineering.
