​SPMS Undergraduate Ng Zi Xuan Wins Gold Medal at WorldSkills Singapore 2018

Ms Ng Zi Xuan, a third-year undergraduate studying chemistry at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), has been awarded a Gold medal at WorldSkills Singapore (WSS) 2018.

WorldSkills Singapore is a nationwide skills competition, held once every two years and currently in its 13th edition, in which Singaporean youths showcase their mastery of skills used in the workplace and beyond. Ms Ng won her Gold medal in the subject area of Chemical Laboratory Technology, a newly-introduced subject in WSS 2018. The competition was held at Temasek Polytechnic from 15th to 18th January 2019.

As one of the championship winners, Ms Ng will go on to represent Singapore at the International WorldSkills Competition in Kazan, Russia, in August 2019.
