IAS Frontiers Workshop on Quantum Geometric Advantage

Following the successful “Quantum Geometric Advantage” workshop held in January 2023, the Centre for Emergent Quantum Materials (CEQM) recently completed the Singapore Ministry of Education Tier 3 programme, Geometrical Quantum Materials, in July 2024. This programme laid both the scientific and infrastructural groundwork to advance our capabilities in studying quantum materials. Building on this foundation, we have launched a follow-up Tier 3 programme, Quantum Geometric Advantage (2024–2029), to move beyond platform science and demonstrate a quantum geometric advantage. Our focus includes leveraging quantum geometry and topology to enable advancements in specific device technologies.

Our workshop program will be single-sessioned and focus on the following four areas:

(1) Non-reciprocity

(2) Topological polaritons

(3) Magnonics

(4) Hybrid material platform
