Akshar Saxena, an Assistant Professor of Economics at SSS@NTU, specializes in applied economics and econometrics, focusing on health, demography, and behavioural economics. His research encompasses the economics of ageing, health sector reform, and fiscal policies related to pensions and retirement. With experience as a consultant for the World Bank and USAID and previous work for Singapore's Ministry of Health, Dr. Saxena brings a wealth of expertise. His insights as a global public health economist will be shared at the White Paper Launch: Exploring Sustainable Financing for Novel Antibiotics in Singapore on 15 July 2024.
