The NTU School of Social Sciences (SSS) Club proudly presents the NTU Social Science Challenge 2025! 

Calling all Pre-University students! Are you passionate about current affairs? Do you dream of making a difference in society? This is your chance to showcase your critical thinking, sharpen your research skills and ignite your passion for creating social change!

  • Collaborate with like-minded peers to gain hands-on experience and exposure in policy-making and the social sciences disciplines.
  • Engage and network with NTU professors, industry professionals and student mentors, who will guide you through interactive workshops and masterclasses, further deepening your understanding of the social sciences.

Who can participate? 

  • The NTU Social Science Challenge is open to all Pre-University students from Junior Colleges (JCs), Polytechnics, IB Schools and the Millennia Institute.

Rules of participation

  • Form a team of 5 members to participate. Each school should only send a maximum of 5 teams. Kindly coordinate with your school administration or teachers to complete the sign-up registration on your team’s behalf.
  • Teams are encouraged to complete the Challenge independently, refrain from seeking help from friends and teachers to maximise their learning, and refrain from discussing it with one another.  
  • Teams should attend all listed Challenge dates. 

As this is a physical event held at our NTU campus, SSS will not be held responsible for the loss or damage to personal belongings. Participants must look out for their team members and personal belongings to ensure their safety. Any incidents of concern are to be reported immediately.

If a team or team member decides to withdraw from the competition, the team should inform the organisers immediately.
