SSS@NTU PhD Students and Associate Chair Recognized for Global Impact at International Symposium in Hong Kong

NTU School of Social Sciences (SSS) proudly acknowledges the outstanding contributions of its PhD students and Associate Chair (Graduate & Continuing Education) at the recent International Doctoral Symposium hosted by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).

The symposium, themed “Global Perspectives on Social Problems, Policy, and Practice,” was held from 10th to 14th March 2025. Nominated doctoral students from six prestigious universities—The University of Chicago, Hong Kong Baptist University, The University of Michigan, Seoul National University, The University of British Columbia, and Nanyang Technological University—participated in the event.   

Four PhD students from SSS@NTU presented their research projects, engaging in valuable scholarly exchange and networking with fellow students and faculty members from the participating institutions. The symposium provided a platform for them to share their work and gain insights into diverse perspectives on pressing social issues.

The school recognizes the successful participation of its PhD students and Associate Chair, noting their dedication to academic excellence and contribution to global scholarly exchange.
