NTU Economics Students Shine at Inaugural Economics Case Competition 2025

We are proud to share that NTU students have emerged as top winners in the Inaugural Economics Case Competition 2025, held in collaboration with NUS, SMU, and SIM. This student-led initiative was co-organised by the NTU Economics Sub-Club together with the NUS Economics Society, SMU Economics Intelligence Club, and SIM Economics Society.

The competition, launched on 10 February 2025, drew over 350 participants, including more than 150 NTU Economics students — a strong showing that reflects the vibrancy of our Economics student community.

After a rigorous selection process on 17 February, three teams advanced to the finals, which were held on 21 February 2025 at the SMU School of Economics. NTU students delivered outstanding presentations before a distinguished panel of judges comprising:

  • Mr Archer Fu, Vice President, Head of Business Development, DHL Global Forwarding
  • Mr Chan Kok Hoe, Senior Lecturer, National University of Singapore
  • Mr Adam Samdin, Economist, Oxford Economics

We are thrilled to announce that NTU teams clinched both 1st and 2nd place in the competition — an impressive testament to their analytical rigour, creativity, and teamwork.

1st Place – Team 48

  • Lim Yi Hui, Ainsley (NTU)
  • Ang Wei Jun (NTU)
  • Ho Wen Xuan (NTU)
