NTU Social Science Challenge 2024

NTU School of Social Sciences Club proudly presents NTU Social Science Challenge 2024. We are inviting all Pre-U students and are thrilled to offer them a unique opportunity to participate in this challenge!

We are looking for students who can demonstrate critical thinking skills, research capabilities, and a passion for social change!

Beyond attractive cash prizes to be won, participants can connect with NTU professors, mentors and like-minded peers! Together with our NTU Professors and mentors, they will guide the participants through workshops on how to evaluate the policies during the Challenge.

Who can participate? 

• This is open to all Pre-University students from Junior Colleges (JCs), Polytechnics, Millennia Institute (MI) and NUS High School of Math and Science to participate in the NTU Social Science Challenge. 

Rules of participation

• Form a team of 5 members to participants. Each school should only send a maximum of 3 teams. Kindly coordinate with your school administration or teachers to complete the sign-up registration on your behalf.

• Teams are encouraged to complete the Challenge independently, refrain from seeking help from friends and teachers to maximise their learning, and refrain from discussing it with one another.  

• Teams should attend all listed Challenge dates. 

As this is a physical event held at our NTU campus, SSS will not be held responsible for the loss or damage to personal belongings. Participants must look out for their team members and personal belongings to ensure their safety. Any incidents of concern are to be reported immediately.

If a team or team member decides to withdraw from the competition, the team should inform the organisers immediately.
