Educators' Appreciation Day: SSS Honors Faculty on OneNTU Day

The School of Social Sciences (SSS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) marked a momentous occasion on August 30th with the inaugural celebration of OneNTU Day, which coincided with Teachers’ Day in Singapore.

This special day served as a fitting tribute to the faculty members who play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of SSS students.

Celebrating the SSS Educators' Appreciation Day

As part of the SSS Educators' Appreciation Day, the school held a series of heartwarming initiatives to express gratitude and appreciation for the faculty's dedication and exceptional contributions.

Faculty members were presented with the SSS@NTU Identity package, a thoughtful gesture symbolizing their valued place within the school community. Additionally, they were treated to relaxing massages provided by visually impaired professionals from the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH). Furthermore, Chiro Time offered complimentary spinal health checks, too.

Students Share Heartfelt Messages of Appreciation

Students actively participated in the celebration by leaving heartfelt messages of appreciation for their teachers on a dedicated Padlet wall. This platform remains open until 6 September, allowing students to continue expressing their gratitude to the faculty who inspire and guide them throughout their academic journey at SSS@NTU.

The inaugural OneNTU Day at the School of Social Sciences fostered a sense of connection and appreciation within the school community.
