WKWSCI MMC Programme Signs MOU with NCCU’s International College of Innovation to Offer Graduate Media and Communication Courses

An MOU was signed between the Master of Media and Communication (MMC) Programme at Nanyang Technological University and the Master Program in Global Communication & Innovation Technology (GCIT) from International College of Innovation, National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taiwan, to offer graduate-level courses in media and communication.

The MOU was officially signed on 7 April 2025 by Prof Jack Qiu, Chair of WKWSCI, and Prof Trisha Lin, Director of the Master Programme in Global Communication & Innovation Technology (GCIT). The signing was witnessed by Ms Wong Pei Wen, Programme Director for The Master of Media and Communication Programme.

Expanding Educational Opportunities for GCIT StudentsAs part of the collaboration, WKWSCI will offer selected courses from its Master of Media and Communication (MMC) programme to Master's students in the GCIT programme at NCCU. The initial course offerings will provide GCIT students with advanced knowledge of emerging communication technologies and public affairs communication, equipping them with essential skills for the global communication industry.

Strengthening Global Academic Partnerships
This collaboration marks a significant step in WKWSCI's efforts to broaden its international reach and reputation as a leader in global communication education. By providing valuable academic exchange opportunities for faculty and students alike, the partnership reinforces WKWSCI's role in shaping the future of communication on a global scale. The first cohort of students from NCCU’s GCIT programme will join WKWSCI’s graduate courses in Semester 1 of Academic Year 2025.
