Apply for Interbank GIRO

Students are strongly encouraged to pay tuition fees through GIRO, a system of direct debiting and crediting of bank accounts. It provides the added convenience of not having to make a trip to One Stop @ SAC, as well as avoiding late charges as deduction of fees will be done automatically. Any disbursement of scholarship and bursary can be credited directly into the same bank account as well. Best of all, this facility is provided free of charge by the banks.

For this purpose, you must first open a bank account in Singapore. Please click on this link to submit bank details online before printing the Application Form for Interbank GIRO (You will be prompted to log in using your Network User Name and Password. Please ensure you have activated your Network account). Freshmen can only access the link from 26 June 2024 onwards.

Once printed, please sign it before submission to One Stop @ SAC,  NS3-01-03 North Spine, 50 Nanyang Avenue, Singapore 639798.

The GIRO arrangement is only effective if the following appear in your E-Bill:

• Statement "Payment to be deducted through GIRO on DD-MMM-YYYY"
• Amount of Deduction
• GIRO Bank Account details
   

If your E-Bill does not have the above, please continue to pay all your bills by other cashless modes of payment at One Stop @ SAC until your GIRO arrangement is effective.

For payment made through GIRO deduction, the GIRO deduction date would be indicated on the E-Bill. Please ensure sufficient funds are available for deduction at least two working days before the deduction date. If GIRO deduction is not successful, a late fee of $25 will be imposed.

For Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents, please submit the GIRO application form by 12 July 2024.

For International Students, please submit the GIRO application form by 24 July 2024.
