Appraisal for Scholarship Application

Guidelines for applicant (student) who has completed the Online Application Form for Scholarships

Dear Applicant,

This appraisal is to be completed by your school teacher, who must not be your family or relative.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Forward this URL - https://www.ntu.edu.sg/admissions/undergraduate/scholarships/appraisal-for-scholarship-application to your appraiser (school teacher) to complete an online appraisal form and submit it within 7 days of your scholarship application.   If your appraiser is not able to submit it online within 7 days and needs more time, please inform him/her to submit as soon as possible (preferably not more than 2 weeks from your date of scholarship application).Note that only ONE appraisal may be submitted online to support your application.
  2. Inform your appraiser (school teacher) of your NTU application number and Date of Birth, as he/she will need the information to submit the appraisal online.

 

Guidelines for the Appraiser

Dear Appraiser,

This applicant is applying for a scholarship tenable for a full-time undergraduate degree programme in NTU. The applicant has named you as his/her referee. Our office would appreciate a confidential appraisal of the candidate for our consideration. We would like to assure you that the report would be kept strictly confidential.

This appraisal should be completed based on your best understanding of the applicant. As a guide, please provide an accurate and non-biased assessment of him/her in comparison to other university-bound students. Using the form, please describe (in not more than 200 words) your views on this applicant’s academic, CCA and leadership abilities and/or achievements. This appraisal should be submitted only if you are not related to the applicant as a family member or a relative.

Please note that by agreeing to complete this online appraisal form, you may be contacted by NTU for further information or understanding of the appraisal. To access the form, you will require the student’s NTU admission application number and his/her Date of Birth.
