About Us

The Centre of AI in Medicine (C-AIM) is a partnership between Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), and the National Healthcare Group (NHG). Launched to bridge the gap between cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and practical applications in healthcare, C-AIM is spearheading research and development to revolutionise patient care and inform public health policies.

We envision a future where clinicians, allied health professionals, and medical students collaborate seamlessly with advanced AI tools to revolutionise medical practice. Our commitment is to pioneer the integration of these technologies to enhance clinical outcomes and foster a sustainable healthcare system, empowering every healthcare provider to deliver exceptional patient care through innovation.

Our Goals

Unite for Impact

We are dedicated to assembling a dynamic team of clinicians, engineers, social scientists, data scientists, educators, and implementation scientists. Together, we will demonstrate through solid evidence that AI technologies and data analytics can not only enhance patient outcomes but also do so affordably and accessibly. This ensures that every patient benefits from the best that technology has to offer.

Building Trust in AI Healthcare

Engaging all stakeholders, including healthcare workers, administrators, patients, and the community, in meaningful dialogue about their needs and concerns. We aim to build trust and provide the necessary training to integrate AI effectively into healthcare. By focusing on these critical elements, we seek to pave the way for a more inclusive and efficient healthcare system.

Educate and Empower

Integrating the education and skills training of AI into both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. We will prepare medical students and healthcare professionals for the evolving healthcare delivery landscape, ensuring they are equipped to lead and innovate in a technology-driven future.

Evaluation for Excellence

Establishing a robust systematic evaluation framework that assesses and guides the implementation of AI in clinical practice and the healthcare system at large. By rigorously measuring effectiveness and impact, we aim to ensure that AI technologies are not only innovative but truly beneficial to healthcare outcomes and practices.
