Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Event

Continental was invited to present our innovations and products at the Launch of the 9th Urban Lab Exhibition with the theme – Reimagining Urban Mobility with Autonomous Vehicles. The launch event was held on 13 January 2022 at the URA Centre, and the Guest of Honor invited was Minister of State, Mr. Tan Kiat How. Due to the COVID-19 situation, all participants were also required to undergo Antigen-Rapid Test (ART) and comply with all the safe management measures. 

The emergence of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) presents possibilities for transforming the way we live, work, play and travel. The launch event poses two questions: How will AVs affect the way people and goods move? How can our towns and infrastructure be redesigned to leverage the potential benefits of AVs? 

During the launch event, Continental showcased our Corriere LM Delivery Robot as well as our Continental Urban Mobility Experience (CUbE). Our location Head of Research & Advanced Engineering, Vincent Wong, was also interviewed by several local media such as Channel NewsAsia, Lianhe Zaobao, and The Straits Times, to find out more about Continental’s innovations towards AVs and future mobility. We are happy to receive numerous local publications, both physical and online coverage.
