LPDP - NTU Graduate Scholarship

The LPDP – NTU Graduate Scholarship Programme is designed for Indonesian students who wish to pursue a full-time PhD (by research) at NTU. Applicants who meet NTU's admission requirements and are successfully selected by the LPDP will be considered for this scholarship.

 

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be shortlisted by LPDP.
  • Applicants must meet the general admission requirements for the PhD programme. Refer to the respective programme for any additional requirements.

 

Application period

August Intake 1 November – 15 November (CoHASS)
1 November – 31 January (for all other Schools)
January Intake 1 June – 31 July

 

Application procedure

Applicants must submit their admission application, along with all required documentation, through the NTU application portal.

Concurrently, applicants are required to register on the LPDP E-Beasiswa system at the following website: https://beasiswalpdp.kemenkeu.go.id/, and ensure that all necessary documents are submitted, including evidence of enrolment in the NTU programme as mentioned in this scholarship programme. Successful candidates will be shortlisted and selected by LPDP and NTU during the application process and will be notified of the outcome within 12 weeks of the application deadline.

 

Coverage

The details of the Award are as follows:

(a)  The award covers the annual tuition fee, miscellaneous fees, and monthly stipends, visa cost, one-off settling allowance and airfare;

(b)  The maximum period of the Scholarship is 4 years for PhD candidates.

For Scholars who pass the PhD Qualifying Examination/Confirmation, he/she may be eligible for an additional stipend of up to $500 per month. The increase in stipend is subjected to good performance in research and the attainment of required standards for courses taken.
