Young Innovators Challenge 2021 (11 March 2021)

On 11^th of March 2021, SCSE Innovation Lab welcomed 2 groups of students from River Valley High School and National Junior College who were both participating in the Young Innovators Challenge 2021 organised by Nanyang Technopreneurship Center.

The students were here to meet our SCSE Student Entrepreneurship Project (SEP) teams for special mentorship sessions, which covered both the soft and hard skills aspect. Our SEP teams aimed to help them with the development of their prototypes and to improve their pitch deck for their projects.

SEP team members from LuoPrint, Mentogram and XRExperience introduced themselves by showcasing their projects to the visiting young innovators.

The 2 groups were mentored by our teams who shared their innovation and entrepreneurship experiences with them. They also ran through with the students on their pitch and provided them with technical insights on their projects and guidance for prototyping. Towards the conclusion of their visit, students exchanged contacts with their mentors for follow-up sessions online as the deadline for the challenge drew closer.
