Tech & Data Equity Lab

The overall vision of the Tech & Data Equity lab led by Dr. Edmund Lee is to advance population health through the equitable design and use of health technologies and big data.

Researchers in the lab are focused on tackling one or more of three priority research areas:

(a) Addressing the problem of data absenteeism and chauvinism in use of communication technologies in health disparities context;

(b) Utilizing “big data” to improve population health outcomes, and/or

(c) Examining the impact of communication technologies and messages on public health.
